Welcome to A Girly Girl in Boy Land. As the daughter of a hairdresser I had no chance of being a tom boy as much as my poor Dad tried. I've always had a passion for all things creative and love trying out new things. In my free time I run 2 Small Businesses Cake Decorating & Photography which I'll share my work on here as well. I love having a creative outlet and the look on my client's faces when they see the end product.
Our family resides in the Kansas City Metro area. The Hubs and I are highschool sweethearts and, bear with me here, he is my best friend. I'll be the first to say that I'm more than blessed with the life we've built together. Our first born was a Red Headed Miniature Dachshund whom we named Sydney she is my only other female presence and even she can't get enough of a good roll in the dirt plus refuses to let me dress her up. We have 2 boys Grant & Charlie and they are all boy.
People tell me all the time that they can't believe I don't try for a girl but I'm pretty sure this is God's way of saying we'd be broke if I had one. Plus let's be honest we'd get another boy and I'm not above saying that I'd cry.
Life with all boys is crazy and eye opening for this girly girl but in the end I wouldn't want it any other way.
